Spooky Halloween Sneek Peek

Hey there Bloggers!
Just a quickie before I get ready for work ;)  I've been working on my upcoming Halloween class 'Something Spooky' (hey, I don't name these things ;)
I would have had the whole class ready ages ago but I keep getting excited about a new idea or stamp or product and then I can't decide which to do ;)  I finally locked in one though - I created a milk carton template to use as Trick or Treat candy holders.  very cute, I've made around 20 variations already - they are almost as addictive as my journals ;)
So, let me know what you think.
(ps-the words are from the Authentique Halloween words, love 'em ;)

note my cappucino machine in the background ;)

Anyway, gotta dash, thanks for checking in.

Spellbound in Pink and Very Vintage

Hey there Bloggers!
Look at me go - 2 posts in a week, people will talk ;)
Just thought I'd very quickly share a couple more of the classes I'm teaching this week.  I warn you though - the first one is very pink!

These are the cards for my 'Spellbound' class - ie they use Spellbinders dies.  I've used 3 of the newly released dies as well as a couple of Tim Holtz stamps.  The flower is actually a Martha Stewart punch (Chrysanthemum) but I just love it so I snuck it in there ;)
I'm not normally a pink girl (I can hear a few of you saying- 'der!') But these papers are so pretty that it wasn't a hardship at all to use them ;)

These are my 'Very Vintage' cards.  They are a lot busier and girly than my usual stuff-I pushed myself out of my comfort zone a little with them.  I used a lot of the fabulous new embossing powders, glitters and Mica from Stampendous.  LOVE the new stuff, it's so addictive.  Everyone was mocking Fiona when she confessed that she was more in love with them than anyone should ever love an embossing powder, but seriously, once you use them you HAVE to have them and you get a bit twitchy if you can't ;)

Anyway, I don't have time for this sort of nonsense, I've got to get ready for work!
Thanks for peeking,
B

Have Computer, Will Blog

Hey there bloggers,
Well, I bit the bullet yesterday and went out and bought a brand new computer.  I know, I know, I tortured poor Rachel for many weeks, making sad eyes at her so that she would come over and spend hours trying to beat our old one into submission, but it was finally glaringly apparent that no matter what miracles, voodoo or curses she performed the computer was too ancient to play the game (pun intended).
So now I have supplied the males of the household with their long awaited super-computer and I have the off-cast computer.  Which I'm actually pretty darn excited about as it's perfectly adequate for my needs, and now I don't have to wrestle people out of the way so I can get stuff done.  This must be similar to the excitement felt by those with a second bathroom ;)
So here I can sit, perched next to my froggies (and closer to the coffee machine ;) pinning madly away whilst pretending to type up class instructions.
Hooray for Rachel and her technologically savvy brain ;)

Vintage Christmas, Bottle Caps and a Couple of Kits...

So, I've been a tad busy ;)  Still battling the flu' (now downgraded to an enormously persistent and lingering cold) I've been super-busy getting classes ready for the new schedule as well as 2 shop kits done - a scrapbooking one and a card one.

These, obviously, are my 'Old Fashioned Christmas' cards.  (my class is over-booked on Saturday, which should be interesting).  I got to play with the new embossing powders, mica flakes and glass glitter from Stampendous for these ones (such a hardship ;)  Not to mention their new stamps, they have got it all going on at the moment.

These are Bottle Cap Cards.  I used the new decorative bottlecaps that we got in for these ones, they have matching images that you just punch out with your circle punch and there are even epoxy stickers and clear cabochons that you can put on to to use instead of Glossy Accents or Dimensional Magic.  I'm loving Basic Grey at the moment, I think I'm still not-so-secretly pining to do their Pages of the Month.

These are my pages for this month's Scrapbooking Kit of the Month.  I realised after I'd done them that my Mother-in-Law features in 3 of them and my Mum in 1....hmmmm...I'm sure Freud would have something to say about that...that I really do love my Mother-in-Law perhaps ;)  She's a sweetie.

Lastly these are the cards I did for the August Card Kit.  It was very purple with lots of (vintage) Sassafras Lass.

Anyway,
I'm off to watch Life on Mars (the English version as insisted upon (and supplied) by Rachel)
Now I've done a mega post I'll try not to leave the next post so long ;)
Have a great week!
